Blue tooth for Audio. Ideas
Hi
I’m looking for a solution for streaming music with BT from my phone to the car audio system. The AUX connection is pretty poor in quality and volume so a BT -> 3,5mm will not do the job I guess. What ideas do you guys have? The car is a D3 HSE MY2007. It is fitted with BT today but that’s only for phone use.

Use the Audio Connectivity Module and a Layen Bluetooth adapter - the audio is vastly superior to the aux input. Ahem, there's even one for sale in the FS:Parts section -------------------------------------------------------------------

Another thumbs up for the ACM 30 pin plug connected into a Bluetooth adapter. I feared that I’d not be able to play from the iPod touch but this fix was a great solution.

As you already have BT for the phone, a mObridge M2.Connect MOST module isn’t the smart choice either. It is quality, though, as the streamed audio is digital until the amp converts it towards the speakers.
The suggested combo, ACM + BT adapter is probably the most sensible one.

I use the Parrot Mki 9200, and that works well.

And tune2air 1000 too.
In fact I think the bovee 1000 and tune2air wma1000 are the same thing.
Both give steering wheel control.

Been watching this with interest as I've wanted audio over bluetooth for a while!
Where can I pick up an ACM from?

Wont that have the volume issues that the other aux BT adapters have?
I can vouch for Kinivo. But recommend the BT-455 that I use. Works great with a phone and an iPad connected simultaneously. The output volume is slightly low but I just crank up the Aux volume a couple of notches. The sound quality is more than decent. Is the D4 Aux better than the D3? That would surprise me. If they are the same, Kinivo does the job well, has a simple interface and installation and I am very pleased with it.

I’ve got the Bovee 1000. It’s pretty good, but doesn’t display tracks or artists - unless someone knows of a hack?
