[For Sale] Carbon Fibre Full Suspension 21.5“ TREK MTB
Ok guys, I know quite a few of you are into Mountain Biking. Well after buying SWMBO an E-Bike I discovered that I couldn’t keep up with her anymore, that’s despite being much fitter than when I used the Full Suspension capability’s of the bike. So I’ve gone an bought myself a hardtail E-MTB Hybrid bike.
As a result I’m reluctantly selling this 21.5” Trek Fuel 100 Team Issue bike for £650.00.
It’s only available by collection as I don’t have any suitable packaging and the shipping insurance would probably be silly money.

It's a lovely bike for sure, and a tempting price, but far too big for me! I'm 5"10 and ride a 17" frame usually. I could probably stretch up to an adjusted 19" frame but I prefer a compact frame with more extended seat post and stem.

I'd ditch the 'bar ends' and set the handlebars to a 'riser' position.
Would give it a more up to date look.
In my opinion, it dates an otherwise cracking bike .... as said, my opinion only.
Bike is about 15-years old, at that time the frame alone was £5,500, if you could get one. I was offered one by Trek UK because they weren’t able to supply me the frame I wanted from anywhere in their global stock. Needless to say, I didn’t pay that much
I’m 6’2”, so you need to be tall or at least 33” inside leg.
26x2.1 tyres,
I’m not changing the bike one iota, buy it as seen, change it to what you want after that.
Wife’s bike is same as my new one, Ghost Kato Hybrid E-BikesLRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
