[Wanted] D3 - Low Tax Bracket or Commercial

Hi all,

I am looking for a D3 to sit alongside the D5 to give me best of both worlds.

Looking for low tax bracket so 54/05/55 or very early 06. Or happy with a commercial

Not at all worried on mileage, 200,000+ is OK. I am in the fortunate position where if it sits on the drive awaiting parts/time then it isn't an issue. Belt history/oil pump etc a massive bonus!

If parts are not 100% and you know bits need work then that doesn't worry me. Part of this is to get myself more into the mechanical side.

Ideally wanting a forum car, with the benefit that the majority of the history is probably on here Laughing

I am not looking to spend £000's due to the fact it is a 'toy'. I did miss out on Moo's which would have been ideal and should give you an idea of what I am looking for. I was also looking at the 54 plate on here that needed work recently.

I have started early conversations with a member but thought I would see what else is around incase that doesn't work out.

Putting my 05 plate D3 up for sale if it interests you, it has 158??? on the clock but runs lovely infact just got back from a 2000 mile trip around Scotland, Orkney and Shetland and she never missed a beat.
No leaks on the drive and the sunroof channels have been cleared out so no leaks on th inside either.
According to the V5 it has had 7 owners and as 7 seats which it has but the back two are usually down with a Britpart plastic floor cover on it. The interior is Black leather as it's HSE spec. but there is slight wear to the drivers seat pad as you get in, all seat electrics work including the bum warmers.
It has got 4 Goodyear Duratracs on fitted about 3/4 months ago and the same part worn spare to match.
Megaflush done on the autobox before Scotland and it works like a dream.
Brakes just been overhauled, new sensors front and rear with new pads fitted on the rear as well.
Typical L/R stereo problems so Kenwood double din stereo fitted with built in satnav. The screen at the top did not work so top of the range Garmin satnav being left in and the reverse camera shows up on this.
MOT until 17/09/19 so can be driven away.
Asking £4750 ovno.

My04 and My05 only in low tax bracket, pre the new VED pricing that came in

I think commercials are also low tax band Iggy/Ieuan

Yep anything 2004/2005 is low tax - I think up till 1/5/06 reg date so some 06’s too MY2023 Discovery 5 R-Dynamic 3.0
