Didn’t ask about stock and no never pinched yours
Not sure on price. Still waiting to hear if it will take a yellow top. Think they where designed for the Odyssey battery.

Keeping an eye on this thread, very interested.
Primary use would be running the fridge, and some radio gear. Would probably run the ARB compressor off it too.
If I went down this road I would have to find a new home for my ARB though Any suggestions?
Would like to know what batteries fit and are recommended and also what people are using for the charging. I would probably look at the Ctek D250SE. Thoughts?
Finally suggested cable run routes. Dorian Woolger

I'm also interested in which Traxide kit you used. I had one in my last D4 and it was great, but stop/start messes things up a bit and I didn't want to go the expense of getting someone else to make up cables of the correct length if they wern't the correct length (if you see what I mean?)

It's a new kit which as far as I can tell isn't listed on the traxide website yet. Tim made it up for me and indicated that he was going to make it generally available once i'd been the guinea pig, so to speak. Suggest you reach out to Tim directly, he's extremely helpful.
Seems to work fine with stop start
I ended up running it out to the side of the fusebox by the battery, behind the dummy air intake and into the car behind the glove box. It should be possible to push it through the same grommet as the main loom behind the battery, but i wasn't brave enough to force the cable through.
edited to add: For Dorian
Which compressor do you have? Pics?

Re: Rear cubby battery mount?

So I've decided that I need a dual battery system that'll power my fridge/freezer for a day or so without having driven the car. Seeing as there doesn't appear to be any room under the bonnet due to stop-start and various other gubbins, the most popular location seems to be the rear passenger side cubby box.
Is yours a UK spec car? I would not have expected a FBH to be fitted on a Gulf spec D4, and the space where the FBH sits is the idea place for a second battery.
