Big thanks to site sponsor LR Trade Parts
https://www.lrserviceandrepair.co.uk/
Wanted a set of proper oem style mudflaps with the metal brackets [not the cheaper ones without]
Bought a set of them for the D4 from LR Trade Parts via ebay a good few weeks ago.
But never got around to fitting them until last week.
Fronts went on well, rear NS went on well .... but the rear OS .....
The metal bracket didn't fit inside the flap, thus it stood out proud leaving a large gap when fitted.
Contacted LRTP via ebay messaging and they were on the ball, asking questions, receiving my pics, politely & promtly answering and then said they'd send me a replacement bracket.
Arrived today and I fitted it and all is now well.
So great experience and response from them in resolving, particularly as they didn't know I was on the D4 forum, I was just an ordinary punter.
I half expected the "sorrry pal, can't do anything, you've had them too long"
So thoroughly recommend them.
I had my FL2 in for service, brakes & mot with them last year and again service was great.
They would've had my D4 business this year too ..... had I not moved to Scotland. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.
