Front 'Tow ball' hitch-up guide device?

I've finally got a (fully legit) front tow-ball system fitted.
After much fiddling with bamboo canes, rocket sticks and BlueTac on it and the hitch on my large Ifor Wms trailer, I wonder if there is a sturdier DIY or off the shelf system to achieve successful interlocking.
Thanks in anticipation.

This is magnetic and send the image to your smartphone - stick it on the bonnet front edge just before hitching up?

Hi, give Watling Engineering a try they are really helpful and may have what you want on the shelf. If not they will custom make one for you. HTH Andy.

Sorry James W, good idea but not easily possible with an aluminium bonnet...

The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

Surely the big advantage of a front tow-ball is that you can see where you are going? How far is classified as experience.

I always thought the bonnet was steel like it was on my old D2. Oh well, live and learn.

Many thanks for that since they supplied the kit. I had a chat on the phone when I ordered it and I got really good service.
