Struggling to see any relevance to my post/question in that link?

Again, I'm fully aware that the non-pilkington screens are rubbish, I'm not here asking whether I should have one fitted, I'm asking if anyone here has recently been told by Autowindscreens that they're not entitled to a Pilkington screen due to the age of their car? And if so, did they successfully manage to get them to change their minds?

Just tell them you want a genuine one...if they say no, go to your insurance company and tell them

I doubt you will get genuine, but you should be able to get a Pilkington OptiKool.

As per my previous comments, autowindscreens are terrible.

Have they told you how long the wait is for fitment? Tell them you want Pilkington Optikool and see if you can get that.

Better still, ask your insurance if you can use a different windscreen fitter.

You could have used up the information to impress upon the insurance company that the none Optikool screen causes issues. Rolling Eyes
