Disco 4 2009 Rear Camera Issue Reversed
Hi, I haver just picked up a Discovery 4 2009 and juist noticed tyhat the rear camera (when reversing) is revered, or at least left to right! Is there a way to change this? I cannot seem to access any settings screen in the screen when the rear camera display is active.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

It’s highly likely it’s an aftermarket camera, a photo would help to identify, some aftermarket cameras have an option to change the mirror view by cutting a wire genuine reverse cameras don’t have this option.
Is the camera view in the SatNav screen or independent screen?
If it is in the SatNav screen try tapping the screen when the camera is on and see if any options come up.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

The Camera module above the number plate looks to be stock, could be wrong as have not dismantled iot yet, I have attached a photo so hopefully you will agree from what can be seen anyway. The car has not got the 3D surround option, so when it was first bought the owner must have scimped on that option. The camera display comes up on the main screen, and I have tried touching the screen to see if any menus appeared but nothing happens, I have also tried a long press as well to see if this helped liked the secret menu option but again nothing.
Not sure if this will help, but there are no onscreen graphics either, again may be the model or option fitted at the factory but there are not reversing lines or any on screen graphics at all on the display.

Very wise too, the surround cameras are vastly over rated, as many here will confirm.
