Guys
Is there an easy way to read the fault log that the ATC unit keeps? Just got back from France and have had the situation where I plug in the 13pin socket to to car, ATC LED goes green - so all OK. Get to where we are going, or a stop for a drink/etc, and LED is red. Unplug and replug in, LED goes green.
The user manual says this is due to the fault log being full, but I cant say I've felt the ATC kicking in at all, and I'm sure the small amount of sideways push & pull I feel when being overtaken by something like a large motorhame or luton type van wouldnt have been enough to trigger the ATC.
Before we got off the ferry, I disconnected the plug and reconnected, then ran all the way home (M27,A34,M40) driving exactly like I had in France (but obvioulsy on the left hand side of the road before some wag jumps in there ) and on reaching home ATC LED was still green.
I know about the 12v connected for 12hrs thing to clear the memory, just need to work out how to do that, from a practical perspective, but keen to know why the memory is full, if thats what it is.
