Lanoguard

Has anyone tried this, what are thoughts on it..

It does seem to have some good reviews, I was just wondering how messy it would be to work under once it was coated.

I have been using Lanoguard since last year. For the minimal effort and cost involved, I think it is the best product available to halt or delay the progress of rust - even in places which are awkward to reach. To be effective it requires annual inspection and usually some additional application.

It dries to a slighly tacky finish, after a day or so. Then it is hardly noticeable, and no mess for future maintenance. However, I would recommend using a disposable floor covering under the vehicle during application, especially indoors.

Have a search on this forum... I recall a discussion about the smell lingering but no-one being put off by it.

I use this stuff: https://www.fluid-film.com/
It's the recommended thing in the Norwegian Landy society. If it keeps a series vehicle from rusting to pieces here, it'll probably work fine for a Disco in the UK. The smell doesn't really go away, but it's not actually that bad Sheep
