Its piggy backed on the fuel temp sensor on the fuel rail.

I opened it and it looks professional its completely encapsulated in resin.

My thought it's a tuning box. I am going to remove and see if it solves any of my problems.

Which is the best way to check the turbo linking, from above or from the wheel arch.

Just removed the box and it appears to have solved all my problems. No more rough idling or poor starting from hot.
No more limp home mode on hard acceleration.

i had one om my TDV6 it would go into limp mood if i hoofrd it from low revs and low speed never had a rough idle though but if its solved the problem Thumbs Up

You gotta love the way it’s been left to bounce around the engine bay getting trapped in god knows where. Even a bit of sticky foam would have been better than nothing!
