Radio / Phone problem

Good morning all

i hope you all can help having just got my new to me Discovery 3
on a 59 plate i have a problem with the radio
all it will do is say on the screen is Phone Mode it won't do anything the clock works but i cant set it
i have tried a hard reset and no change
any help will be welcome
