Thanks Hairy47 and M3DPO.
No I haven't changed the door card. Fault started about 10 days ago, and it's often different symptoms.

M3DPO in that case I won't carry on looking for a splice.

I'm getting a new actuator fitted very soon, but I still feel it maybe a bad connection/joint somewhere.
But the new actuator is the next logical step.

In the meantime switch off auto lock on drive off if you have it enabled
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

What other symptoms are you having? It’s possibly a CAN BUS fault.

Don’t worry about your mirrors, they won’t powerfold unless all locks are locked.

sometimes tail gate is still locked and needs another push of the unlock button on remote.
One time lost voltage to passenger side ciggy lighter socket. (I have permanent power to all sockets, relay removed and bridged by Bodsy)
But mostly all doors are locked except drivers door.
Two local Land Rover dealers want £323 to replace drivers door actuator. (£208 for 1.2 hours labour and £115 for the part).
They can't get me in for three weeks.
My indy chap will do it much cheaper but also a three week wait.
I have the Gap 11D, but that does not show any faults.

Update.. New actuator fitted last Wednesday and all is working normally.
We found the hardest part was releasing the window clips.if you have short fat arms its impossible to reach the rear clip.
A better way is to only drop window by two inches, then remove outside channel. (only two screws and then lever out). Then use steel rule to push in from the outside to release clips.

Just like to say a big thank you for all the help, support and advice from site members, THANK YOU.
