People who take "offence" at the smallest thing make me despair. When I was young, we thought the four-minute warning could go off at any time, the IRA were active and we had been taught that you could catch VD from a toilet seat - there were, and still are, more important things to worry about. Having been told that my use of Gill Sans font was "morally dubious" (Eric Gill had an incestuous relationship with his daughter), I have decided to join in.
My first effort was an e-mail to Beechams earlier this week.

I never knew that about the Gill Sans font. Every day's a school day.

You are OK with the font. It is Gill "sans" anyway. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

it's alright for you, swapping fonts can't be that bad.
I've been told for years I can't call my "hobby" Wegener's Granulamatosis because there is a suspicion that Wegener worked out what the disease was by having access to lots of bodies ... wonder where from in WW2 Germany ?
So I have to go by the label of GPA ... which nobody has a clue what it is until you whisper "used to be called Wegener's".
