Spare a thought for those caught up in the flooding in/around South Yorkshire.
Sheffield has seen 84mm of rain in 24 hours compared to their normal November average of 79.4mm.
Parked cars up to their door handles in water:
There are photos of cars in flood water where roads pass under bridges. Why do people try to drive through flood water in low spots like that? Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

They see a duck in the middle of the water and think it’s only 4 inches deep!
Mate at work near Sheffield has had his car less than 2 weeks, drove through some water behind a 4x4 and looks like waters got into the engine, assessor is going out to look at it today General Grabber AT3's

They should be fine on the whole. Them's some seriously steep hills. Right down to the Carrs (open plains towards Crop Dryers).
