Heated wheel upgrade to 2016 D4
I have a 2016 Graphite edition with the multi function steering wheel but alas not heated. Can I retrofit a heated wheel without any other alterations or do I need the clockspring? I really do miss the heated wheel in winter when my fingers go white with Raynauds. If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!

you *might* need a different clockspring but a lot of the 2016 ones went out with the heated clock spring on non heated wheels. A lot of wheels for sale come with it and they are easy to swap over Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

You need the two pinned socket on the left in the photo, pretty sure you will see them by taking the column shroud off to check.
It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I remember Dan at Duckworths telling me that 2015 onwards only had one part number which was for the heated wheel. While some 2014’s had the additional socket tough for me and I had to fit the later r/c.

After all the agro of getting a wheel that wasn’t already knackered I find that there is no live feed to the two pin plug on the new clock spring. Also the earlier wheels flappy paddles are not compatible. So I now have a heated wheel for sale.If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!

If you mean no feed from the car to the wheel, I’m sure you will find it there. You need to release the cowl on the column and you will see it taped up and with a foam cover on the plug. Needs to be unfolded and fed through to the r/c.

Best access is by looking from the left having released the cowl to give you a view.
Would be very surprised indeed if it were not there. You need to be sitting on the sill looking under the wheel on the left hand side where the cowl splits.
