The petrol ones do not have a FBH. It is possible for it to have an (oil) immersion heater in the engine block, though. It would use electricity to warm it up.

I know this solution, scandinavian way.
Defa, for example, but they don't have engine heater for my V8.
Anyway, thanks for your help.

I guess webasto also makes petrol heaters so it should be possible but I have no experience with those. Indeed in Scandinavia it’s electricity that is used in petrol engines and FBH in diesels (our Volvo has one).

Engine heater?

I think I've found something for me:
Part number VUB504640.
Engine block heater,
I have no idea about what voltage is it (110 or 230V) and how to install it but it occurs that it was fitted in Canadian version of Lr4 V8.
Anybody knows anything?
I have no service documentation for LR4...

You can retrofit your disco on petrol with a petrol FBH. (Benzin)

I had them in all my petrol engined cars....

They are readily available from webasto and makes you independent of the electricity net.... works everywere And not only at your home ...
 Best regards

That is true but I think I can find 230V version for my engine.
If I find it, I'll replace drain plug with the heater, find appropriate cord and voila!
I think that 3601559.L8 is 230V version, but I'm not sure...

All the petrol versions of Thermo top V, Thermo Top EVO and Thermo Top VEVO (benzin) will do..

I had a quick look on the internet... no relation with this company but this is one who will fit, ready to build in as far as I can see..

https://www.standheizungs-shop.de/webasto-...einbausatz

although you will need to buy a clock or telestart (remote) or telecall (start it with your phone)

If you start with a clock, it is afterwards a few minutes work to add a remote...

If you also want the inside warm/heated you will need a webasto IPCU (I have seen them advertised in Germany programmed for Your land rover for less than €55 incl programming.., to control the heater unit fan and flaps...
 Best regards
