Injectors for Disco3

Hi
I own a Disco3 that is in South Africa. I live in the UK now and use it when I am out there. I need to replace all 6 injectors and buying them over there is almost the same price as the car itself. I have tried to find some replacement parts(not genuine) to take back and replace. What a minefield! I am hoping someone can help me to find the part number or the correct parts and somewhere I can buy them at the best prices. I can give the following technical detail.

Discovery TDV6 2.7 2005
Diesel 140Kw 190Hp
7 seater
Chassy no FDB301S
Engine no ELD110501050025061

I will appreciate any help from you the experts!

There should be a part number on top of each injector. That is what you need.

Malting 4x4, give them a ring, they advertise on ebay which is where I bought my 6 injectors from.
They were the best price of all the places I checked.

As I understand it on the 2.7 the only difference is between Euro 3 and Euro 4.

As said, welcome to the minefield..

You can have a look at “some” different partnumbers used on different TDV6 layouts here in my wiki..

https://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/us..._ref~0.pdf

The good news is, it will run on most of the different TDV6 type’s

I run eur4 JAG type’s on my now LR eur3 engine…

I have the correct LR models laying around as spare, but i find no reason still to change them..
The always possible Risk on issues /hassle when removing the injectors and normal behavior in fuel consumption and power delivery until now, supports my reluctance for now

(I have a tuned ecu on my engine, maybe that make a difference)
 Best regards
Harold

If it doesn't have a DPF (yours won't) it is EUR 3.

The first numeric character of the VIN will be a 1 (one) after the first set of alpha characters which denotes DPF not fitted.

Contact Maltings 4x4 to be sure you get the correct parts.
