Rear PDC - Sounds continuously when in reverse

As the title the Rear PDC sounds continuously when reverse selected, irrespective whether there is anything within range to the rear.

I have cleaned the sensors. Anything else I can do other than read the codes - I sold my GAP IID BT as I hadn't used it Big Cry

Ignition in P2, engine off, select reverse.

Bend down at rear of car and listen for sensors clicking (put ear at each sensor)

If one or more isn't clicking, its faulty and needs replacing. Ebay £15 sensors are fine. If you've got none clicking I'd suggest the loom has worn through under the bumper and will need soldering or replacing.

Thanks J@mes

I haven't yet checked the car, but it looks as if the part number is LR010927 or LR038084.

Can't find any at £15 on eBay - they mostly seem to be cheaper than that. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

Good morning!

Without wishing to perform necromancy on this thread: I do suddenly have the same problem. When putting the car in reverse, I get the continuous beeping sound.

I have already put the car in reverse after turning the ignition key to position II and put my ear to the sensors. All I can hear is a very faint sound from each sensor best described in tone and volume as the faint sound sparkling water makes.

So, is this the sound it is supposed to make?
If so, do you have any ideas where the fault might be?

(But: Finally! A good chance to get a GAP IID Tool! Mr. Green )

Thank you for your time with my possibly somewhat silly question (and less than smooth English)!

EDIT: It was a bit early, sorry. I did not realise, I posted in the Disco 4 section...
