IID tool reverse parking mirrors
Can an IID tool be used to unlock the option to have your mirrors dip when you go into reverse, I have a 2015 SE Tech (with sat nav but not electric seats) and this option is not available at present in the menu but thought it could possibly be activated

Provided the hardware in your car is set up to do this, I would think the IIDTool would be able to set the configuration in the CCF to activate it if needed.2016 D4 TDV6 Corris Grey
IIDTool BT
I stand to be corrected (in which case I'll try and enable on mine too ! ) but I think it's part of the electric seats package as it works with position memory.

So is the electric seat package wiring etc in place so you can buy electric seats and connect them up if someone wanted too which means that the rear mirrors option may be available or is that wishful thinking

as far as I know it only works with the electrics seat pack - so that must include some sort of control box that is otherwise missing2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

I purchesed front elec memory landmark seats and fitted into my SE TECH and they worked perfectly, plug and play, haven’t tried enabling dipped mirror with new seats fitted but they didn’t work when I had manual seats.2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.
With added
Rse, tv, electric memory seats, rear camera, heated steering wheel,
Headlight dip assist, remote FBH, led door light pack, easy lift kit, osram front fog/drl/active cornering lights. and whatever els I can find to do,

Gilly1 am I right in thinking the controls for the memory seat programs are in the door cards and if so did you get them and fit them as well, is it an easy diy job, where did you get the seats from?

The mirrors use the same memory module that the electric seats do, they will not work without this module, correct wiring loom, switches and being enabled.
The switch pack is now fitted into the door card not the seats as in pre my13, which means you may also need new drivers door card :blob:It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Electric seats, seat wiring loom/looms, module. door switch pack, and enabling, it has the connections there to receive seat wiring, 2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.

On a 2005 model is there a setting for how much the mirrors dip by and can it be changed?'

No need to use the IID tool, when in reverse move your mirrors to where you want them and then store using the Memory on the seats.
