England 2016 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Lux Auto Loire BlueDiscovery 4
D4 BMS on GAP IID

I changed the Battery on my 65 plate D4 HSE Lux on Saturday and have been advised I need to reset the Battery Monitor System.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find it using my GAP IID BT?

I've looked through the menus and can't find it.

Just had a quick look in demo mode for D4 although it's based on 2012 model

Service/Test > BCM Body Control > Battery Replacement.

If needed I can plug it into my 2014 D4 later and have a look although I haven't had to replace main battery yet, just the start/stop battery so far in order clear the warning light. Stu

assuming you swapped like-for-like I don't believe it would need doing.

by 65 plate, I think (only from reading many battery posts on here) you should have had an AGM battery. .

Yep has an AGM battery.

I've just come back into the office having reset it during my lunchbreak.

The reset proceedure was exactly where dewillia and Oswiperus said it was, and I can't understand how I didn't find it.

What would be the reason for not doing it with an AGM battery?
