2005 LR3 Key Programming

Looking in the manual I see that it states keys can be programmed beginning with MY2007.

Can my 2005 key be programmed? This is an extra key fob that the used car dealer gave me, I assume its one off eBay. 2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic
1966 Scout 800, 196 cu.in.
1975 Scout II, 392 cu.in.
