Expensive month

Definitely been an expensive month for me. Had to put four new tyres and wheel alignment on the wife’s car a couple of weeks ago. Only a Fiesta but running 195/40/16 which seem to be an expensive size, tv in the bedroom died Wednesday. Tesco have been selling a 50” 4K hdr on special for £249 for the last week. Went in on the way home and they had sold out so a trip to Sittingbourne Curry’s and wandered out with a 50” LG smart 4K hdr tv. And then yesterday sold my Civic and then bought a lovely 58 reg Focus ST. A real diamond in the rough and only 68,000 miles from new and cheaper to insure than the Civic.

The only cheap thing that happened is today stumbled across a website selling the Lego Millenium Falcon ultimate 7500 piece model and got it for £63

Oh, where was that?

I’ve got a 10179 with certificate, but might be interested in 75192, which I presume it is?

That’s like my March month. Although, I also have my warranty expiring and I’m going on holiday!

Which is less painfull - having all the big expense in same month, or spreading it out through the year?
A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Expenses all along the year affect cash flow differently than having it as an one time event while on a year level they do look the same Whistle

Just think “it’s only money, I can’t take it with me”. Thumbs Up

Says he driving a 13 year old Jazz with £135 tax (presently SORNed), mega cheap insurance, high 50s mpg (UL so saving the planet), zero depreciation and an oil change every few years. Whistle Whistle

I did save some money on the insurance. The ST is cheaper to insure than my diesel Civic. Figure that one out. Shocked

Always have an expensive month. Credit card bill this month £4800. Last month £5500.

I'm happy when it's below £3500.

Yes, this month I dumped the Halls of Residence on the Visa, but I’ll pay it off at the end of the month.

Censored Students! If it ended there I’d be fine, but no, his mother mother took him round the shops for food and clothes this weekend. She even paid for his designer drink! Think the bill was nearly £700. He could survive a nuclear holocaust on the amount she got him. I don’t even argue now. Rolling Eyes
