Front Driveshaft CV Boot replacement
Currently replacing a failed CV boot and as the shaft has only done 45,000 miles decided to replace both boots.
I had the shaft replaced with a new one.
Have fitted 3 out of the 4 clips onto the boots and on the last clip on the outer boot but its different to the other 3
(Using this excellent write up https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic54694.html ) I have used the pliers and vice trick to tighten 3 clips but as per the images no raised crimp on the 4th clip
so my question is how do I tighten this one up, I didn't pay attention when I was removing the old clip, I just used a hacksaw to cut it.
Anyone?

Iirc I tried and failed, so went with a thin stainless jubilee clip.
Was okay for a couple of years, but where I had let it run dry for to long it started to grumble, so stuck new shaft in.

Grip the raised 'nodules' with your pliers, and it should just ratchet tighter, and hold its position. You might have to hold down the free end with your finger to make it latch.Richard
