To answer. Yes. But it’s always been there.
3 months worth, rotate the food out every 2 years by using it. Have freeze dried food which has about a 15 year self life also.
Don’t have a prepped bug out vehicle or a shotgun hanging behind the back seat, just makes sense to have it and costs nothing to rotate the food.
My time spent in Sweden it was/is normal to keep a pantry of food.CLUB DEFNER

3 months worth of food is a lot of food, isn't it? Presumably much is tinned/frozen?Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I dont think we are far from being able to lock the farm gates for a few months, we are relatively self sufficient in veg all year, plenty of fruit preserved/frozen/stored, herd of cattle, plenty of rabbits, pheasants etc, 3 functional wells, no shortage of firewood, solar panels. And no shortage of alcohol and the facilities to produce more ==================================

Struggling to work out if anyone's being serious in this thread? are people genuinely stockpiling food etc in case of a 'lockdown'?

Not us, we just happen to be fairly self sufficient anyway, even down to curing and smoking stuff making butter and cheese etc==================================

I can’t see how the U.K. could enforce lock downs as per the Chinese. I suppose potentially we could get to a situation whereby you’d want to minimise your contact with others though.
If that happens, I hope this years rabbit population is better than lasts. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

LT, highly unlikely we would a lock down like in China, one the top medical offocers has said any response would have to be proportionate and based on the need to get on with things.==================================
