Can anyone recommend a decent in car player? It'll mostly be used for playback from a USB stick and I'd like to mount it on the ceiling for the kids to watch on long journeys. I want just the one central screen so we don't have more than one film playing at a time.
Any suggestions?

Couldn't you just use a tablet and a cheap rear seat mount?
My kids have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A, which was about £150 new 18 months or so ago I seem to recall. Then you can either stream films like netfilx or nowtv to it using your phone's 4g data or download the films over wifi before you travel so you don;t eat into your data plan too much/risk having no signal.
The tablet can then be used for loads of other stuff unlike a dvd player.
