Very happy new owner
New to me Disco 4 MY12 XS. Absolutely awesome machine! Covered 5000 miles in the 2 months or so that I’ve had it and can honestly say it’s performed flawlessly in whatever situation has been thrown at it; long road trips through Scotland most weekends camping at the base of mountains, taking on the worst of the British winter weather and winning (including getting me out of a snow bank when driver error occurred..) as well as full days on the motorway. All this in the highest levels of comfort and without drama. Epic bit of kit.

It’s lovely to hear someone is thrilled straight into ownership.
My only advice would probably just keep ontop of maintenance and do things before they even become an issue. Just service service service and it’ll serve you well.

without wanting to jinx things
im also a very happy new(ish) owner. Bought last August and put 9k miles on it since, no snow but some floods and very wet conditions. Muddy, pot holes dirt tracks to take the dog for walks.... and its not missed a beat yet.
so far only a major service and cambelts just after I got it, and now probably 4 new tyres to replace those that were on it when I got it. Planning another oil change, diff oil change, and transfer box oil change shortly and when I can find someone locally to flush the gearbox that as well.
