My 2011 Commercial has as standard an FM radio and Sat Nav.
I have been offered a DAB Receiver Tuner Box.
Is this plug & play?
Suspect the aerial will need upgrading, any clue to a part number would be appreciated.
Thanks

Is it aftermarket or OEM, and bare in mind lots of stations are now moving to DAB+ and DAB is obsolete. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

A choice of 2, one LR CPLA-14F720-BN, and the other a Ford one which I have been told will fit, A12278493.
I realise DAB+ is with us, but really only want to have Planet Rock at the moment, and DAB+ is very expensive to fit apparently.

Just a thought, if I upgraded my 2010 RRS to DAB+, would the DAB stuff from that work in the Disco? 2011 Discovery 4 Commercial SDV6 (Gone)

It should do as they are the same system. The CPLA may not as that’s for the 2012 Gen 2.1 system. But having not tried it I wouldnt be 100% sure. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

Thanks for the input, common sense would say fit the stuff from the RRS as I know it all works.

Update and tip for those wanting DAB+ at minimal cost and fitting grief.
I eventually bought a Kinetic Digitizor from dabonwheels, mainly 'cause you can have the DAB info on the standard screen.
3 options for insallation, 1 requiring access to the rear of the vehicle radio, and 2 without. I chose one of the latter.
Fitted it behind the lower glovebox, piggybacked the radio fuse for power, used a bolt further up by the top of the fuse board for the earth, and all working, even with a window mounted aerial that isn't really for heated screens.
Will fit a roof mounted one if reception proves an issue on the move, but considering the aerial worked still folded up on the passenger seat, I might not have to.
Intend to upgrade my RRS DAB to DAB+ the same way.
At £79.99 including the aerial, it's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.
Ended up fitting a Connects2 CT27UV83 sharkfin powered antenna, excellent piece of kit.
