Adaptive Headlights - AFS Retrofit?
I know this subject is well described on the forum, but wanted to ask question for which I could not find definitive answer.
I know how to check if cornering lights have wiring in place or not, but I wonder is it possible to see if there is wiring present for AFS lights? (I appologise if answer is present but I did not manage to find it)
Since I have bi-xenon headlights (without cornering lights) I wondered if retrofit might be easier.

Well I had standard halogens on my D3 and ordered a pair of what I thought was xenons from a breakers yard, and what turned up was a pair of AFS xenons with cornering lights, I have fitted them and everything works fine with one exception, they don't turn ie bend the beams when turning the wheels, but when set up with the IID tool they work just like bi xenons with the addition of cornering lights, plus look really cool de-tangoed with the added 120mm led ring lights.
P.S. I can live without the bending beams!!

Everything can be made to work, BUT static bending (swivelling) is very involved and personally I deemed it not worth the effort , all other functions are easy though Altox GSM FBH controller thread
