Refrofit Bluetooth with basic audio

Hello,

I'm French and I bought my Discovery 4 in December.
It's a basic Discovery "S" in France
Before I had Discovery 3 "S" with manual gearbox with many options like "SE"

I changed the steering wheel (with heated) and I added cruise control, flappy paddles, mud flaps, tow bar and new front grill.

Now, I want to install Bluetooth on my basic audio. I bought navi but it's more complicated and I search just simple solution.

I don't know if the bluetooth unit for basic audio is directly in the audio unit or at the rear near the right rear seat.

I have an IID tool and the bluetooth buttons on my steering wheel

I search and I read different topic like this https://www.disco4.com/forum/d4-bluetooth-...76604.html

Thanks for your help. Bow down

Do you have a point in the glove box to connect an iPod to? You could get a Bovee if so?

I’m afraid I’m out of ideas then.

The Bovee is a good option to stream Bluetooth music as a replacement for the iPod lead, but I’m not sure what options if you haven’t got that!

I guess some sort of unit that would plug into the 3.5mm aux jack, and broadcast that way.

I have one in my D3 HSE now, ordered it via a colleague in the US months ago, as I was going over on business (long story)

Easy to fit and works well for streaming audio

Car has Bluetooth from the factory but this was the missing piece as phone etc worked but couldn’t stream audio over BT
 Must stop buying shiny toys....

Thanks for your return. I think it's a good solution easy to install and plug and play.

Earlier or lower spec models, not sure which. Have the usb socket in the centre cubby box lid.
My commercial effectively a GS has the same radio/dash display and has Bluetooth as part of the system. However it only works if the unit is on/running. If it’s not switched on it does not connect.
Not sure if this is of any help?

Yesterday, I programmed my car with IID tool to enable Bluetooth. Now I have phone in the menu but when I want to select a phone, no answer and back to phone menu.

I think that I must install bluetooth module and microphone.

Who have the references of theses parts?

I send a PM to wiggs but I haven't news.
All people said that's the bluetooth specialist.

I found 2 parts numbers for bluetooth module
AH4210F845AA
8H2210F845AA

What's the difference? Year?

For the microphone, I found this part number XVC000050.
How connect the microphone to the audio unit?

Thanks for your help Wink

Have you tried searching on your phone while in car for Bluetooth?

You need to pair with the car

Basic radio should have Bluetooth already built in

Yes! I search but my iPhone don't found Discovery. I tested with two differents iPhone.

I follow the information on GAP diagnostic to enable bluetooth

2010 onwards:
Menu->Car Config->Audio Control

Bluetooth set to Bluetooth enabled
Bluetooth handsfree telephone set to Bluetooth handsfree telephone system
Cellular telephone set to Cellular docking wBluetooth

Did I forget anything?

When I removed the dashboard, I did not see a micro driver side
