Wiring | pin-out high-line 2

I am looking for a wiring plan /pin-out on the amp in my motor, in the workshop manual for the D3 here in the wiki forum, I can only find wiring plans / schematics For the low-line and the logic7 High-line?

Not the system I have? Or do I miss the point?

In my ‘05 (MY06) D3 I have the High line system 2 (mid-line) with 6CD changer - external amplifier (MOST connection) Under the seat.
So:

􀁺 Two front door mounted mid/bass range speakers (one per side).
􀁺 Two front door mounted tweeters (one per side).
􀁺 Two rear door mounted mid/bass range speakers (one per side).
􀁺 Two rear door mounted tweeters (one per side).
􀁺 A sub-woofer located in the lower tailgate.

Since in this system each door has one channel with 2 speakers (1 tweeter & 1 mid-range/woofer)
Both fed by the same channel
So 4 channels + the sub woofer in the tail door makes 5 channels?

On the amp, there are 6 output channels.. or at least 6 out-put wires. g/gw

Where is the 6th used for?

Is that one going to the Centre speaker location? (Where no Centre speaker is of-course in this case)
And are the two “missing” channels, the one’s for the D-pillars? (Although they themselves seems to be (partially) pre wired in the back...

Schematics of the D4 are all different.. but who has the proper one for the earlyer high-line 2 system?
And knows the pin-out on the amp?

Any help would be appreciated
 Best regards
Harold

I dont know what the others do, but the green and white ones are the speakers. I bought the Connects2 bypass loom, see link below. This kit only uses the power connector and the green wire connector to bypass the amp and all the speakers work. I didn't know there was a sub in boot. I would be interested to know what the others are, other than the Most connector.

Well, that will explain the one extra... thnx..

Rather strange the passive sub uses 2 channels? but the HK is quite sophisticated and well engineered stuff, so it will make sense somehow..

Note: I do not want or intend to change / replace the amp, just want to know what the pin-out is...
 Best regards

@gstuart

Thanks for your effort......

The pin output like on this picture was what I was looking for..

But, please read what I asked for otherwise..
(I don’t wan t to be rude) I did know Allready what I have regarding amp and speakers.. Wink 8)

Regarding the schematics for wiring IN the cabin/motor I need it exactly for my motor... D3 build in ‘05 MY’06 specs..

All the schematics in the books you sent and I allready had...(although overseen the pinout, so thanks again Wink ) are different, but none is exactly the same as in my motor..specific different on the cable/wiring loom

This one looks like it, but misses the sub-woofer.... Why?

The other one in the manuals is the logic7..

The reason I Did like to know the schematics... of exact my type/model...was in the first place : the D-pillar is pre-wired for the additional rear speakers... but not wired @/in the LS amp connector.... so where does it “stop/start” ?

Since the RSS has another amp location, the exact wiring layout but more location is also different..
So does not help sufficient..

Anyway.... I think I know enough now.. I have planned to add the logic7 type speakers to my HK Hi line 2 amp.. they are good sounding amps by themselves...
why? Just because of the better quality of the speakers themselves....(material and bigger magnets) i do not want to replace them With aftermarket stuff..

Since a piece of wiring is missing in my motor, it is easier to use the existing wiring and maybe additional filter for the low range door speakers... To make it 3 way in the front doors

Or...... fit an extra amp ( I have a few audisons left somewhere) fed by 2 speaker output channels and wire them separate to the front door to power the high and mid tone speakers with filters, the woofer to be fed from the HK. So the power Is more equally devided (3 speakers on one channel on the standard system is maybe a little bit too much..)
 Best regards
Harold

Please show me, as on the next page there is only the logic7 schematics, NOT the hi line 2 amp wiring..

And if you see how much they can draw in the schematics of the logic7, I doubt that room/space on one page was the issue Big Cry
 Best regards

there are many varients of circuit diagrams.

I can't say they are perfect.

On mine, the sub is on the sheet with the rear door audio controls (lots of red wires)

The green sub wires are on the bottom of this.
Took me a while it find them again Laughing I was thinking you were correct for a second

The Logic7 and the "mid line" HK systems are show on the same set of diagrams, but poorly labelled.

Some quick snips showing the labels.
