Just had a quick look this morning to swap it over and realised the red shaft is different to the D3 one as I guess its from a D4 6 speed (mine is a 2009 D3 HSE 6 speed)

From memory there was a process to swap the red shaft which is longer for the one from the D3 - Ive found this from back in 2010 but pictures are long since gone https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/disco3-disc...ight=lever

Does anyone remember how to do it, as I dont want to break it in the process. Sure its an easy process but dont want to go at it hamfisted and damage it. Must stop buying shiny toys....

Hi Darrin,

Thats strange as I purchased it for my D3 at the time. Have you stuck the part number on the cardboard box lid into the tinternet to see what it brings up?

EDIT: just looked and though some sites dont state D3 or D4 britpart have it listed on that part number for both...very strange Rolling Eyes D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

Its not a problem as I doubt the D3 only version is actually available anyway and would have bought it to do this to it, just dont want to pull it apart and ruin something!
