Suspension level control

Hi
The controls for suspension height in my 2014 D4 have a strange glitch. Pressing the arrow down for Access Mode does nothing. Pressing it up raises the suspension fine and it does lower down but only when going over 45km/h, as expected.

Chatting to an indy recently and he reckoned it may be a software issue? I thought it might be a failing switch unit. Have not had any fault codes read.

Any thoughts or experience?

Regards
DJF

Ride level control

Hi,
Had the same problem with my 2008 D3. With help from this forum I changed the ride height switch unit and the problem is now fixed

If you have a GAP IID or similar you can see the real time operation of the switch pack in: Suspension> "live values" > switch lower susp.

In any case there will be a code logged which should indicate where the fault lies!

No fault reader unfortunately.

Can't imagine how you can run and maintain the car yourself without one. Unless of course you're happy to pay someone else to do it. Whistle

Its a very good investment and will generally pay for itself very quickly, (its a LR after all)
Plus, it will be snapped up when time comes to sell if you decide to move on. Thumbs Up
