Did a quick search and I cant find a list of recommended indies.
I live in the Midlands but I would recommend this place:-
SG Motor Services
Chiddingfold surrey (south of Guildford)
07846 566313
He has autologic, can tune ECUs, services and repairs all LR models incl D3..... I havent used him but I know of his work where he previously worked (Elliot Engineering in W Sussex). I assume the rate will be very competitive.
Any more places to add to this list? Any in and around Chesterfield or Sheffield?
Now the cars are getting older I assume more and more will want to know their options?

Yeah - I lived on that green from 98 until last summer. Miss it (but not the bloomin bonfire!)
