Looking to get sat nav repaired, it’s showing wrong disc or insert disc?
Ejected disc, cleaned it but same result.
Several on eBay but I’d rather get reliable repair or working unit from a member.
It’s in 2005 SE model.
Any help please?
Many thanks. Jim

Personally I would not bother, even with the latest disc it is a rubbish system.
There are a few threads on here where owners have fitted after market systems that are much better.
The 4x4 screen works fine on mine and I use a Tom tom system that I have synced the sound through a spare FM channel, not that I have much use for a SatNav these days

Maybe he just wants his own repaired
I personally understand that.. despite having the most modern and recent TOMTOM On my motorcycle..
The 2010 maps on my Disco work for me in most cases. But even if they did not, i just like it to work as it should... Just because it is there...
@cosmo1 maybe the lens needs a clean, you can buy lenscleaning disks for that purpose
repairing Inside, like a belt or mechanics can be time consuming and there fore expensive and is replacement a better option..
A wanted add here on the forum maybe? I bought one here for 60 quid (if i remember correctly) Best regards
Harold

Thanks for information, I’m a sticker for everything working! Just posted in wanted section for unit but I’ll remove it and give inside a clean with switch cleaner.

If you end up needing a new unit there are a few different ones on Ebay from around the £60 to £90 mark so a few options for you.Good luck!
