I can put in a bid if you're worried about having to make the trip but I think it will be too high for me with the cats in the back as well.. I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

I had been pricing up a spare 22mm socket, a 3/8th to 1/4 inch adaptor, and cutting the handle off a screwdriver with a 1/4 drive that's lost the magnet, welding (or gluing it) all together so it sticks up through the floor and into the boot... might end up costing me a tenner (will keep an old 1/4 drive socket in the rear cubby) but won't look as pretty as your solution
If you could take a photo of the workings of your neat little gadget I'd be very grateful I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Hi nige
No probs my friend , I’ll take it apart and indeed take some pics for u
I’ll get in done in the next few days for u
Also wonder with the original spare wheel winch that has the 22mm shape nut on it
if u can drill it, use a tap to cut a thread and then put a re bar with a lock nut in the end , or some lock tight , cutting the re bar to length and then use 2 x nuts on the end to put a spanner or socket on the end
Or as u also say ref welding, maybe threaded bar on the end of a socket
Hope that sort of makes sense
