Hi guys
Have had to re-register this evening as a new user as I cant get a reset code for my previous user nams....
Anyways, having a bit of an issue with the old girl today...
Been running fine up to now. Got in the car today and once I had started it, the red triangle illuminated along with the EML.
Ive read the code and its come back with P010D.....Mass or Volume Air Flow B circuit high.
The dash is saying reduced performance and the car will not accelerate so is a bit dangerous to drive.
Can anyone help? I'm assuming the Mass Air flow has developed a fault. There appears to be 2 sensors on the air intake/outlet pipes from the air box. Is this the problem? Just a clean out by taking the airbox and filter out or do I need to dig deeper?
Any help will be much appreciated
TIA
Paul

The two MAF sensors are interchangeable so could be swapped to see if the fault follows the sensor, and can be cleaned with spray on MAF cleaner- don't wipe them or use anything else.
Worth having a good look at the pipework and inlet covers though as possible that the code may be a red herring Must stop buying shiny toys....

Thanks for the advice. I swapped over the 2 MAF sensors as you suggested this evening and yes the Air Flow circuit B has cleared and now showing A as high so it looks like the MAF sensor is toast.
One ordered and I'll let you know if it clears when I have put it on.
Regards
