We chose Tonga Green and I am delighted that we did. I originally prefered Bonatti Grey as it does look good on the RR, but having seen a D3 in the flesh in that colour now, it doesn't work nearly as well.

Our dealer runs demonstrators that were originally Black but is now specifying Tonga Green. They know a good colour when they see one, and know what will sell well second hand .....

What I would really like is the burnt orange colour RRS - that looks great in the magazines, but will have to see one in the flesh.

Here in Ozz the darker colour show up well in the brighter light. I have Epson Green Td5 at present but just booked a Tonga Green SE Tdv6 (with air con in the back for the dog ) Exclamation . These colours jump at you in bright sunlight. The Silver and White are just to much in my view even although the silver seems to be the most popular here.

Tonga Green/Tundra.

I am really enjoying this site, and it strongly reinforces my enthusiasm for the D3. Having agonised for a long time, I have now asked my local dealer to try to find an HSE in Tonga Green with Tundra interior. I particularly like the Tundra interior, with the dash mouldings, door panels etc, in harmonising shades. I think I would be happier accepting a different exterior colour than changing the interior. I'm now waiting for a phone call to see what's available! Anybody share my feelings for colour schemes? By the way, has anyone else seen a Disco3 in Vienna Green? I am considering this also. Ray.

I was considering the Vienna Green based on the colour patches in the glossy brochure but then I saw Disco2 in that colour. It was an overcast day with a slight rain but the colour - it reminded me of the aftermath of a heavy night out if you get my drift Wink I am going to have aftermarket leather seating installed and will most probably have a slate colour depending on the other trim inside. I did the same with the present D2 and after 140k km the seating looks near new despite a number of wet and muddy off road sessions recently.

I have seen one Vienna green, it looked a lot better than I thought. The lauch car at my dealers was Tonga green with Tundra and it worked well. Grey leather would be a great option, I love the Alpacca but long term I guess it is going to mark.

Colours again

I agree that Vienna green looks good in the catalogue swatch, but the D2s that I've seen looks rather 'wishy washy' in reality. It looks as though we've located a Tonga/Tundra HSE, so that's what it's going to be (I think!). Quite exciting spending lots of money!

I've just bumped into the owner of an HSE in Tesco's car park, and he couldn't think of a single bad thing to say about his car - very pleased with it - said he picked it up from the dealer and drove straight to Milan using the sat-nav, without even looking at a map!

Nice one nightfox, but he was actually trying to find Tesco's before he went home.
