Passenger folding mirror doesn't align |
|
I've recently fitted a replacement wing mirror to my Disco 4 2010. All the electrics work as intended. It folds, it adjusts and the heater works.
The only issue is the alignment of the mirror.
At it's most adjusted (inward) position the line of sight doesn't give me suitable visibility. I've checked and. the mirror is clicked in perfectly to it's mount.
Can't for the life of me think what this might be. I've compared it to the unit I took off and everything seems correct.
Has anyone else experienced this and know a fix?

Yeah, looks like there was a discrete (LH) in the description of the listing that I purchased.
I took the (luckily) undamaged arm from my existing mirror and put it in the new mirror unit of the purchased one and it all works as expected.
A bit of a pain as I had the door card on and off about 5 times, but got there in the end.
