I know what you mean, I’ve found using a launcher like Car Launcher, Nova or CWG makes it much easier. I’ll send you a pic of my current Car Launcher screen to show you my current (although will likely change) setup. As an alternative CarPlay or Android Auto does make it easier as well.RLD CB Bracket

This is my home page at the moment
It’s easy to either pick the main apps I use from bottom or big icons on the pop up menu
You can also adjust themes and create your own layout really easy.

pics to follow, but so far...
Appearance - absolutely 100% including colour match facia (dark grey/gray)
Installation so far - a few basic plug'n'play connectors and a bit of head scratching but heading in the right direction. Very impressed with speed and response, radio sounds great and plays fully through the HK Logic 7, shame there's no DAB+ but I've already got a solution to that. Nowhere near as simple to use as you might like, certainly while driving, but that might just need me to customise a few settings here and there.
Bad bit so far - having to Dremell out a portion of the dash, something I hate doing
Next - route cables for reverse cam/GPS/4G although half of this job is already done as they were already routed to the GVIF under the passenger seat.
Does it fit flush around the A/C controls or does it sit proud like in the listing pictures?

@dgarside - that looks stunning, I guess I'll be having a good play once it's all installed so expect a bit of head-pecking from me in the near future
I can't comment on the 'flushness' yet as I haven't tried clipping it all home. The bloke from Amazon should be dropping off some leads and connectors this morning for me to finish the cabling so I'll know more later.
One of the looms that comes with the unit is a SIM holder, and there's a connector marked 4G on the back of the unit itself. I contacted Navihua but the English/Chinese language barrier didn't help (they said the Tesla models don't work with 4G) so I just bunged a Virgin 4G sim card in anyway as it's all I had - nothing happened. If anybody here knows if this part of the kit works then please let me know, perhaps I need a 3G sim or maybe it's just cabling for a different model.
I've downloaded TomTom and set it as the default Navi app. It works a treat, well, seems to but I haven't actually moved off the driveway yet '

It can be a little slow if you don’t let it boot fully, but I’ve got it now fast booting most of the time and speed is absolutely fine and comparable to a good smart phone. Keyboard entries are instant and not really noticed any slowness other than when using LR console, but that’s near enough same as before
I did find a setting to increase time it stays in sleep mode and therefore fast boots, so hardly seen full Android screen boot unless I’ve told it to reboot.RLD CB Bracket

Updates?
Really interested in upgrading from the standard radio with no screen.
Any updates 2 months down the line?
I take it that using a dremel has removed the option to put it back to standard?

Hi all. Apologies for the lack of any updates, had to rebox the Navihua and come back to it at a later date, which just happens to be today.
Before I can finish the job and tell anybody how good/bad the unit is I need to fix a fault on it
The built-in mic worked a treat when I tested the unit, but after installation it stopped. On opening the back I noticed that the cable to the mic was disconnected, it's a small ribbon cable, but can I find out where it plugs back into? No! I'm going to have to strip the unit completely, then refit.'

Update: seems that the mic connector had been selotaped on!! Contacted seller asking for advice..... am still waiting after months of repeated emails.
Solution - refit original radio and throw Navihua in the bin.
Advice - do not deal with Navihua'

I have now sorted many issues, however I can't connect to CarPlay at all...
Any of you manage to do this? - I know it should be a simple process but....
I'll check the 🎤 as people can't really hear me, so make sense that something is blocking them.
I've been chatting with NaviHua for sometime now, they keep troubleshooting with me asking for videos...
It now came to a point that I open a dispute via Alibaba.com for either a replace unit or money back.
One more thing, has anyone manage to get true colours on the screen? my ones are pale...
Thanks guys!

9 Months on and still no radio! Contacted Navihua the day after the item arrived and informed them that it was faulty (the mic/reset cable had fallen out inside the unit). After 9 months of messaging and sending photos of the damage all I get from Navihua is 'my friend we guarantee, you send to us', so after being fobbed off for 9 months they now expect for me to pay to have the damaged item sent back to China!! They have done everything possible to skirt around the problem, even telling me that 'it doesn't matter if the reset button works or not' and 'we send you external microphone but you pay postage' (not that it will fix the reset button). They are a complete joke, and rather than admit the unit is damaged (even with photos to prove) they just mess about and obviously don't give a stuff. If I could scream from the top of a mountain 'DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE THIEVES' than I would. These people are sharks, will happily send defective goods, but do nothing to put things right. Beware!!'
