Time to say goodbye

Time to say goodbye after 4 years of Disco 4 ownership it's time to say bye, dont need it anymore, caravan sold! not leaving the fold though bought a Freelander 2 so will still be popping on here, it's been no problems but the thought of the crankshaft has always been in the back of my mind every time I drove it.

DG will be along shortly to explain how many D3/4s were built and how few have had the c-word thing happen.

I was at my local indy this morning and he had a mini in that he was refusing to drive as it was imminently about to let go in the timing chain department but customer was insisting on driving it away as he couldn't afford the £1100 to fix it before it fuct the engine totally.

apparently that BMW engine is notorious for the chain going ... but their forums don't have DSL spreading fear !!

Mine's on 92K and hasn't missed a beat. Goes like a rocketship too. Just bought another older model but the MY16 D4s are superb vehicles.....

See if that one you passed on is still available maybe?...
