I have just bought a brand new lead to plug my iPhone into the auxiliary point in the rear centre console.
All works fine for about 30 seconds then loses connection.
Anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?

Is it a genuine iPhone product?
I needed a new lightning to 3.5 adapter and the aftermarket versions produced the same symptoms as you've described (using headphones).
I bought the genuine item and it worked perfectly.
