Changed mine today. To get rid of the low coolant warning on the dash. It was cracked at the bottom and goosed.
New tank twenty odd quid.
What a crap job. I have lots of tools and a good idea what I’m doing but I had all the odd long handled surgical clamps,my extending grabber and my extend in fog magnet rod. Three extension lengths on my socket and two pairs of mole grips. Why make it so hard? Would almost have been easier to take the radiator and grill out! Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

Exactly. Way easier if you do that. No tools required to remove.
