Audio Crackle after a few minutes |
|
Hi. Has anyone encountered a problem where audio coming from aux input starts to make the most horrible crackle and hiss after a few minutes? I can 'hear' braking etc so I suspect it may be some sort of earth related issue. Switch back to the radio or use the phone and the problem is gone

Phone via bluetooth adapter which is getting power from the 12v at the aux connection. Was the same when I had it plugged directly to the aux in though. Phone would generally have been charging all the time though in either scenario

I had a Kinivo phone / audio streaming adapter in my D3 for 4 years and it worked like a dream - however when I tried it in my D4 (although I didnt need it as the D4 has streaming audio capability) - it gave horrible crackle / earth buzz sounding problems and would have been unusable.
I would try to find another BT adapter, see if anyone on here can recommend based on experience. 2014 D4 HSE Facelift Corris Grey
