Mine does not turn off the reverse sensors either when a load is attached. Have to do it manually on the dash if I don’t want the constant beep!! 05 auto D3.
Then you either have non genuine loom fitted or there is a fault.
Not necessarily a fault if the CCF has not been updated after the tow electrics have been fitted, there may be other updates available also if tow electrics are not done, time to invest in an Iid tool as you may be missing out on a lot of features! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

The D3/RRS OEM loom is plug and play so no updates to the CCF etc are needed.

Thank you gents. Why didn't I think of that? There isn't a proper trailer socket loom. I did notice when I had the bumper off for a new reversing sensor (lockdown job #17) that the trailer socket was wired in with a couple of gash bits of domestic flex and white at that. It looked horrible but the connections were sound so I just made sure it was secure and re-fitted the bumper.
I guess the fusebox should be in here somewhere and that thetrailer socket
loom terminates there too?2016 D4 SDV6 Landmark
