Hi there, relative newbie to my D3, trying to connect my phone to play music via the rear aux input, I get awful buzzing and barely audible music.. what’s the issue? I do have a puddle in the passenger footwell ( defender owner so that doesn’t phase me) and it’s a new cable..

I've had this in the past, it was a cheapo USB - Cig socket adapter in the rear aux input. Changed the adapter and all was good!
Took me an age to find the issue.
