Anyone got a set they want to part with?
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

6mm drill bits will do the job well if you're stuck!!

I do have some cheap ones but they measure 5.7mm, all others seam to be 5.9mm, as it’s the first time I have changed the belts on a D4 I don’t want to take any chances, would 0.2mm undersized cause any problems?

@M3DPO You do know the rear belt is timed on the D4?.. You will be fine with your drill's for the front belt.

Yes 5.7 will be fine as you are only looking to hold the sprockets in place!

Yes I do know thanks, out of curiosity what are the consequences if one was put on out of correct timing?

Nobody knows for sure, even land rover wont tell us..Its supposed to be a more efficient way of keeping everything in sync.

You don't need the tool to lock the fuel pump and cam in position, as long as the white marks on the belt line up with each pulley your good to go.
