Cheers gents... its just north of Ballater on the road from Deeside to donside not long after the hump back bridge (Gairnshiel)..
Some may recognise the car... user Robbo(?) had it before me. We’ve had the car now for a think about 7 years... D3 with lots of d4 extras!

Sounded like a great day out.
Would’ve loved to get out in the D4 for a bit of leisurely snow driving, especially some sledging.
Unfortunately down our way we’ve been put in lockdown, told to ‘stay at home’ and only allowed to leave the house for essential reasons (all about some nasty virus and saving lives I believe).
Well, that’s Queen Nicola for you ...... different rules for different parts of the same country! ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Not too far from you to the west of you (Grantown on S) we’ve had nothing much at all recently. Had naff all over the last couple of days, and a light dusting last night. I was hoping for at least knee deep and was looking forward to digging the drive out, not.

All the snow forecast maps show snowing stopping at about where we are, plus it was up to the balmy heights of +2.5c yesterday. The Cairngorms are booooootiful and white, as are the Cromdales, we’re just under the snow line.

If you had too much snow Del, they wouldn't be able to make a quick getaway after nicking all the bikes from the local shop !!I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
