wierd plate

Hi guys
today i spotted a 52 plate disco which i thought looked rare
on entering the details into reg checker it came up as a 2004, how is it possible to have a late 2002 plate on a 2004 ?

any ideas or am i missing something

You can have any personalised plate on the vehicle as long as it doesn’t show the car as younger than it is. So you can have a 52 plate on a 2004 car, but not the other way round. 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

My Wife thinks the D3 is a hobby, The D3 thinks the wife is 💕

I believe the number plate on your car was originally issued in 1986, they had only just started planning the original D1 at that point. 1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8
