Yes, toggle switch in the TX feed.
And relocate plus fit a dummy port.

Should be.
Only reason I sound so authoritative on such a techie matter is they have been discussing just this on DEF2.net. Normally these things are waaaaaaay above my paygrade.

Excuse my ignorance - but why would one want to do this?

Not really, I liked the older FFRR (L320?) but not so much the newer type. Plus the New Deafner goes back to exactly what I’d want out of a LR, practical where needed and a great camping car for Scando Road Trips, whenever they will happen. I haven’t even sat, never mind driven one though.

Sorry I must have got it mixed up with the L3222, I thought you used to say you fancied a L405.
I’d have a new Defender in a flash, but I’m not yet ready to be weaned off a proper tailgate.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

This is a far easier way of what I think you are trying to do...
Unplug the obd and plug this into one end of it... thief comes along and still gets power to his key coding device but for some unknown reason the car won’t communicate with him...
This seller does two other types one which duplicates the obd socket so you can hide the additional one elsewhere...
the second type has an alarm siren function if anyone plugs into it.....
